Anybody Watch Wimbledon? Anyways, I was almost forced to catch a little bit of Wimbledon just because it was all over ESPN this past weekend. Well, the only interesting story that caught my attention was these strange "Faceless" people that were hanging out in the crowd. The announcers would try to ignore it every time the camera caught one, but I was stunned and quite frankly a little freaked out by it. I quickly tried to research it and all I could find was this article noting:

But nobody knows who the faceless figures, who often appear as motionless couples are, or why they are turning up at high profile events.

Theories include the possibilities that they are limelight-seeking pranksters, performance artists or that they are at the centre of a viral marketing campaign for an as-yet unknown product of forthcoming horror film."

ESPN can't stop falling all over itself to say that this Wimbledon was the greatest EVER! I'm not going to debate that cause I really didn't get into any of the matches. I just want to know what these creepy faceless people are all about. Koko, anyone, can you please shed some light on this??? If they start showing up at Red Bug Lake Park I don't know If I will be able to take the field.
