I am sorry but this whole Farve thing reminds me of the "panda watch" in Anchorman.
Read the article and tell me what you think about Rodgers response, if you ask me I don't think he is too confident in the fact that he will remain the starter if Farve stays. Read and React!

The Packers have now completely embarassed themselves in the way they've handled this. Favre may have started it but it's no excuse for the Packers to act like a scorned lover.
Trade, release, or let him report. They have to do one of those. They're being absurd.
First off Koko your absurd to even say release Favre. That is like saying your Ex-Wife left you, but gave you back the $1.5 Million dollar Rock you gave her.
Are your options to either keep it, re-sell it, or would you just give it to her new lover and say ahh here is a gift for the 2 of you she deserves to keep the ring.
No Chance in hell they ever....ever release him and I am sick of radio hosts, TV hosts, and others not comprehending that.
2nd of all, Of course Rogers is uneasey about his starting gig.....Brett Frickin Favre wants to come in and take it back from him. Also, How disgusted would you be if that's all people wanted to do was ask you about how a legend and someone clearly better than you who wants to take your job away. Plus, he can't even talk smack because he can't piss off Brett, Management, Teamates, media, or the half of Packer Nation that wants Brett back. He is in a No-Win Situation.......He obviously has a script the team gave him on how to answer those questions cause it's the same thing every time.
Lastly, have you guys seen this ridicoulous video of Favre's "Workouts"?
I mean he is throwing passes to 15 year white kids at a local high school in his cargo shorts.
He hass some sprinkles of sweat but come on....when I go running down here after about 3 minutes I am absolutely drenched in sweat.
Most players work out at some facility in Phoenix or Miami with other professionals.
Brett thinks it's a workout to show up in time to throw 6 passes to some 15 year old kid who is about 1/6 the speed of NFL receivers and then call it a day so he can get home in time for Deanna's Catfish gumbo she whipped up for lunch.
Yes, this is getting waaaay out of control.
Whoa Keith. What happened? Are you going to burn your Favre jersey? You started out defending Favre in this. I think you got it backwards bro. This started out as Favre's fault but now it's on the Packers to make a business decision and stop acting like they can just do whatever they want.
They got the GM pleading with Favre to not show up or he'll get fired. What kind of organization are they running here. Contracts are contracts and as we all know this is a business. Besides I wasn't saying that GB should release Favre, I just pointed out it's one of the 3 options they have to pick. And they DO have to pick. They can't have it both ways.
They tell a player under contract that they don't want him to play, ok so he agrees. Then they tell him we are having a hard time trading you. Ok so he asks if he can come to camp to compete for the position. They beg him not to and even try an unprecedented $8 million bribe.
The guy wants to play, period. It's his right, he has a contract, and the Packers are acting like morons.
It looks like this is going to end one of 2 ways. Either they will trade him to a rival team or let him come to camp and compete. There really are no other options here.
If I were Aaron Rodgers I think that I would call Farve out, make him come to camp and compete. I would be pretty sure that I would lose the starting job, but I would create another name for myself other than Farves' back-up. I would be the biggest critic of his play once he got back on the team.
Call him out Aaron! I like Farve as a QB, but you wait til they name this kid, who was your back up for three years, to start this comeback talk. Cowardly play Brett.
True J-Dub Favre back and forth on retirement is ridiculous but it's not like he's demanding to be the Packers QB. If the Pack wants to go with Rodgers then more power to them, but they can't hold Favre hostage in limbo either.
Enough!!!!!
Please Rich now is not to time to profess your inherent Mets homosexual love for J-Lo movies.
We're talking about Favre here. Take that shit to the Lady Kai site.
J-dub that is not the wisest course of action for A-Rodge.
True, he might be known as something other than Favre's back-up but I like the sound of that rather than the douche bag who never did anything himself and criticized a legend.
Also, it is a team. You can't publicly criticize the leader of your team because of a personal agenda.....that would not go over very well at all with the team, his teamates or the fans......realy I don't think with anyone. Rodgers would quickly find himself hanging out with the punter and kicker.
Who do you think the back up QB hangs out with? The punter and the kicker.
Maybe it would isolate him from his teammates, but look at players that have talked shit about teammates, T.O., Randy Moss, and Keshawn "throw me the damn ball" Johnson. Granted they are all pretty good, but maybe Rodgers is that good too! We don't know, all he is doing is holding kicks for extra points. Maybe criticizing Farve's play to the media would be a bad play, but in team meetings I would question everything he did. Yes he is a legend, but there is no way I would let him come to camp and push me around with his legend status. I would stand up and fight for my job as hard as I could.
