Epic Rap Battle has been around for awhile now but they just released a new video yesterday on my BDay! So here it is...

The Senate voted 52-46 against the repeal of Net Neutrality today. For those that don't know, Net Neutrality is one of the ideals Obama backs to protect consumers.
-So, the first thing that I have to rant about is the fact that I don't have "featured article" status on this blog. I call political racism or politicism. 4 out of the 5 people on the featured articles link never post anything. I have homeruns in 3 straight games and more importantly, our team is undefeated. Would it kill you, Keith if you did a recap? "Kluges chronicles"? joke "Blaze is burning"? please. Goat? whatever.
- My company (one of the largest medical device companies in the World) just announced that our health care premiums would increase next year. I thoughjt Obamacare was supposed to reduce the insurance burden on average citizens. Apparently somebody forgot to tell Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Thank God we only have 1 more year of these lies and incompetencies.
- I wonder if it is bad for the NFL to have a team that is so dominating that they have virtually no chance of losing. It is almost like a cat and mouse game these days with Mike McCarthy. They are like the modern day Milton Bearle. They only pull out what they need. I watch plenty of football on Sunday and it must be disheatening to know that the upside to any teams' season is second place.
- Once again the BCS is turning into a complete joke. How great would it be to have a 8 team playoff going all out for a championship. The fact that a team can lose 1 bullshit game and be eliminated is completely unacceptable.
- Does anybody care that the NBA season is in jeopardy? I'm not saying nobody cares about professional basketball. But the model (like social security) is not economically feasible. The players make way too much money for way too long and have very little incentive to go all out. They get their money and stop trying (just like Chris Johnson) Make players earn their money and you will see a much better product.
- Go Rangers! Fuck Cardinals!
- When was the last truly great movie? We pretend like movies are "classics", but they are not. We talk ourselves into them and make comparisons but they fall short. Is it a lack of talent or originality? Do me a favor...Watch Pulp Fiction, or Forrest Gump, or Saving Private Ryan and tell me that anything in the last 5 years even compares.
Finally someone was able to so eloquently put into words how I felt as an 11-year-old kid totally and completely enthralled with the Ninja Turtles but having no other home video game option other than the first Konomi 1989 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the old-school NES. Easily one of the most maddening, piece-of-shit games of all time.

I'd just like to take a moment to welcome back an old friend that has been gone for quite some time now. The real Boston Red Sox are finally back. The last time they were seen was in 2003, walking off the field after Aaron "expletive" Boone blasted the game winning shot in game 7 of the ALCS.
For the last 7 years, these Clone Sox have sullied Boston's "good" name. Winning 2 World Series titles in dramatic fashion, first by becoming the only team to ever come back from a 0-3 hole in the playoffs and defeating their arch nemesis and greatest sports team of all time, The New York Yankees. And then again in 2007 when it looked like all hope was lost once again down 1-3 to a Cleveland Indians team with Cy Young winner CC Sabathia, lighting stuck again as the Sox go on to win their 2nd title in 4 years.
But now Bostonians can rejoice. Your long bright days are over. The "Nation" has crumbled, your identity restored. In one short month, God took his very own Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (aren't those things incredible, I mean how the hell to they work anyway, there's no liquid or cleaning solution, just add water, but I digress) and wiped out the last 7 years with one unfathomable, stupendous, monumental, heart wrenchingly painful EPIC COLLAPSE!
I was only 3 months and 2 days old on October 2nd, 1978. And all my life I've heard about that infamous Red Sox team that let the Yankees come back from 6 games down, culminating in the creation of Bucky Dent's colorful middle name. But I could only hear the stories and watch the film. I could only imagine how it felt to actually see a team melt down and create a glorious, colorless rainbow of sadness.
Now I have my own crash and burn story about the Red Sox to tell my children someday. 9 games up in the month of September, 2011.
Welcome back Red Sox, we've missed you.
Peace and Love, Peace and Love.

Larry Officially revives the Curse!
With My Fantasy team back in good hands knowing Knoshon Moreno will return soon, I finally have some free time and thought I would post back on the dojo. First, I want to bring to everyone's attention (Not that it is needed) but the most highly anticipated 30 for 30 airs tonight on ESPN.........."The Cursed" episode featuring Bartman and Buckner. I am hoping we can get a Koko's review on this one as well.
Secondly, Have you seen that RedSox fans are now blaming the Buckner "Curb" Episode as the new curse. As the RedSox have taken a tailspin dive ever since it's airing on Sept. 4th. What a brilliant move by the devious Mr. David.......
Those Yankees have such deep pockets they even paid Larry David to help out the cause......it is simply not a level/fair playing field anymore.
Well, At least the Mighty Brew Crew are back in the Playoffs looking for a showdown in the World Series with the Yanks. The last time the Crew were in the World Series they beat out the Yankees for one of the Crews many AL East titles. Go Brewers!
For the second time in 2011, a New York Yankee has made baseball history. Merely a formality, the great Rivera notched his record breaking 602nd save putting him alone at the top of the record book.
Perhaps even more impressive than this seemingly impossible feat is the amount of saves not included in this total. The tally of Rivera's postseason saves can be found simply by looking at the back of his jersey. 42 saves in the playoffs and World Series, another record that will be old and dusty before it's ever approached. That is, IF it's ever approached.
And what may be even more incredible than either Jeter's or Rivera's individual milestones this season is that they are current players playing on the same team who are the greatest to ever play their respective positions. How many teams can ever say they have one, let alone two, players who would fill their slots on a greatest all-time team?
Some of you may remember my friend Ryan from my wedding, he was one of my groomsmen. Really funny guy. He just started doing some stand-up comedy.
In this pic, I'm at the top of the screen to the right of the guy in the blueish (Dolphins?) jersey. Navy shirt w orange Bears logo.

After 3 years of ridiculous rhetoric and campaign lies, I finally have regained my hope for the future. Although there are many things that I don't agree with Governor Perry on, his contention that Social Security is nothing more than a Ponzi scheme is so refreshing. After all, don't we all know that logic tells us that as life expectancy goes up and the retirement age stays the same, there is no way that this system can be sustained.
Can't we also agree that watching Obama speak now most resembles a fish flopping around when we take it out of its bowl and put it on the table! Watching him unveil a (once again) poor attempt to create jobs and run us more in debt resembles an overmatched Chaleston Southern team trying to keep up with UCF team .
I can't wait until 2012 so we can rid ourselves of this overmatched, uniquely unqualified president and move ourselves towards recovery. Let's just hope that Obama can escape the stigma currently reserved for Jimmy (peanuts) Carter as "worst president of all time"
Looks like Nike is set to deliver at least one piece of Marty McFly's 2015 technology on time.
2011 Pre-Season Power Rankings have been calculated. For the 3rd year in a row, it's the Whaling City Clippers with the top spot. Perhaps this is the year it translates into a playoff run for them.
Also, this year I will be calculating weekly power rankings throughout the season. This will be done by recording a cumulating Win/Loss record for how each team would have faired against every other team week by week.

He's at it again, and I have been one to defend Lucas over and over again, declaring that we would not have Star Wars at all if not for Lucas, they are his vision and he has every right to perfect it in any way he sees fit.
I was wrong.
We need to find this man and immediately throw him into a Sarlacc Pit.
The new Star Wars Saga Blu Ray sets are coming out next week and we are just finding out that George has once again been tweaking the films.
Small, insignificant things like these are fine and no one really cares if Ewoks have blinking eyes and replacing that horrible excuse for a Yoda puppet in Episode I to the CGI Yoda from Episoded II and III is actually a welcome upgrade.
I can even deal with this ridiculous new scream Obi-Wan has to scare away the Sandpeople in Episode IV.
But this . . .
This actually makes me want to go on Amazon and cancel the pre order I've had since February.
And I'm not at all alone. There's actually now an entire thread discussion on Amazon of people logging on and cancelling their pre orders all because of that one scene.
Lucas seems to have lost all concept of what good film making is. The silence in that original scene and the audience wondering what Vader is thinking at that very moment is the culmination of the ENTIRE fucking story surrounding Anakin Skywalker's internal conflict. Think of the first time you watched that scene. You had no idea what Vader was going to do. The Vader mask looking at Luke and then looking at the Emporer back and forth and then finally lunging toward and picking him up is the most important moment of all 6 of these films that have taken up way too much of my life.
And now it's been completely marginalized and deflated with "Nnnnoooooooooooooo!" Ironically that's the sound I made when I first saw this. Actually I was more like, "WWWHHHYYYYYYY?!" Is Lucas that bored? Why does he feel the need to take one of the most powerful scenes in the history of sci-fi and dwarf it down to a 3-year-old level? Is there not one person in his life with any balls in their sack at all to tell him he's gone batshit?
I guess I'll need to learn how to edit blu ray video and reburn it back to the disk so I can remove this abomination myself.
Just some movie news about films currently in production:
More set pics from "Man of Steel" showing more details of the Superman costume. I'm really liking the very "alien" look of it. Everyone forgets that Superman is indeed an alien and director Zack Snyder is updating the look of the character without destroying the main elements.
This is a set shot of The Rock on the set of G.I. Joe: Retaliation. He will be playing Roadblock. Also Bruce Willis will be in this movie as the "Original Joe," General Joe Colton.
This is a teaser poster for the 4th chapter in the Underworld franchise. Kate Beckinsale is back in a world where humans have started to hunt both werewolves and vampires.
What up Kais? Remember the party I tried to get all of you to go to last year after the draft? It happened again. It falls on the same day!
(Any way we can do the draft on Saturday????) I'm serious.
You all are invited to come to the party! Juan & Jenn have been to a party at this house before (Lindsey's BDay Bash.) Here's their invite!
I don't think I have to sell this party anymore since it pretty much sells itself. I'm bruised and beat up from people asking me when I am posting the invitation. So here it is! Feel free to add as many people to this event as you please. It is open invitation for everyone. By the time I'm finished, I expect that I will have sent 500+ invites. And since I know many of you will ask, yes. The 50' inflatable waterslide will be back!... (first aid kits not included). And who knows what other tricks we might have up our sleeve this year! For those of you new to this event, I don't want to have to give you the "I told you so" speech, if you decide to go out and get hammered the night before. There will be alcohol (liquor, kegs, etc) and food there, however everyone has been very good with contributing in previous years and we thank you for that. There is a pool and hot tub, so bring swimwear. There are also beer pong events, flip cup, cornhole, and whatever insane games you kids dream up. Plan for a long day if you decide to stay. Last year, the last people left at 9am the following morning.
Based on previous years, we only ask for the following rules:
*No glass in or near the pool
*No ripping lids off of coolers and riding them down the slide
*No jumping off the roof into the pool
*No jumping from trees onto the slide
*No more than 1/2 a bottle of baby oil on the slide
*If you break glass, clean it up
*Tip your bartender!!!
Though we urge you all to take a cab, if you must drive, please don't park on the yellow curb. There is parking available near the school on Bennett.
Note worthy from previous years: There will be several birthdays and anniversaries. Congrats to Mandy and Roger who met at Labor Day Party #1 and are now engaged! Congrats to Sean and Lindsey who met at Labor Day Party #3! There will be a separate evite for people who's facebooks I don't have, unless one of you add them. If you plan on coming, PLEASE RSVP so we can keep an accurate headcount and supply food and booze accordingly.

So, I know its been awhile since this Blog had life and I had a self imposed boycott for undisclosed reasons, but I am back. These are some issues and observations that have been going on that I feel need to be addressed.
- I really think being a liberal is a disease that is passed down from generation to generation with diminishing returns every time it gets passed. I have a personal story here to back up my point. My mom has 5 sisters in her family. They are all very liberal (my mom is too). Looking at them, you couldn't really tell what their political views were. They seem fairly normal. However, they all have kids who have taken this liberal view to the next level. From dreads, to long greasy hair, to rings just about everywhere. They look like the typical crowd at an Obama rally. The problem...they are all total losers with no career aspirations. They grew up in a nurturing environment where anything goes. Their ridiculous looks were attributed to them "expressing themselves" and "finding their niche". Now, most of them are either unemployed or are spinning their wheels at dead end jobs. I'm not saying everyone is like that. Certainly there are plenty of sharp, professional liberals out there, but it seems like as generations pass, the left has become a little too left.
- About a year ago, I decided that I wanted to start investing in the stock market, because that was the "smart thing to do". To me, it seems a lot like gambling, so I was instantly hooked. Now, I am so mad at myself for doing this. There is literally no rhyme or reason for what stocks do on a daily basis. An example, I bought 40 shares of "Under Armor" stock at $80 per share. The stock had a 5 star rating and the company was doing very well financially. I bought it before the first quarter earnings were announced. When they were announced, the earnings had been twice what they had projected and they announced the release of several "game changing" products. Since that date, the stock has fallen from $80 per share to $54. This is with all good news!!! Fuck this shit. I'm taking my money out and going back to sports gambling. At least that is somewhat predictable.
- Now that football is back, I like how Philly has gotten all the "buzz" so far. For what? Let's take a look at what they have done. They signed 1 great corner(hats off), an injury prone lineman that the Packers didn't want, a back-up running back, a receiver coming off a microfracture surgery, a scrub back-up QB, and traded a great back-up QB for a much mailigned CB who has only played against the NFC West. Come on now! The Super Bowl champs return 20 of their 22 starters (DE,LG) and get the 15 players they lost to IR back. Can you guys say dynasty?
- I would have to say, that for all the criticizing that has gone on about Wisconsin sports over the years, I would challenge anyone to find a more dominating state this year for sports. We have the Super Bowl Champs (Packers), A division dominating basball team (Brewers), A Rose Bowl participant, who is fully stocked this year (Badgers), and 2 NCAA tournament teams who made the sweet 16 (Marquette and Wisconsin). It wouldn't even be a contest if the Bucks were good.
- The Cobra Kai needs to get back to its roots. We were at our best when the team was an extention of our families. We all got together frequently and we stayed together through thick and thin. Recently, the team has lost its mojo. I will take some of the blame because of family committments. But overall, we have seemed to be content by just piecing together a team. I think this fall we need to take a look at the roster and decide whether people fit the profile of a Kai. If not, they need to be replaced. I, for one, am ready to rededicate myself to the team and turn this ship around.
Peace out
From 1997, one of the best talk show appearances ever, Norm MacDonald ruins Courtney Thorne-Smith's interview.

Esteemed Gentleman of the Dojo,
I would like to apologize for my absence of late as a new job and other stuff and my new found skill of Bizarro Techie has landed me in the dark ages for tech advancements. I am still trying to figure out my new superpower of the ability to remove technology advancements out of my life.......I'm sure the reason for my powers will be revealed to me sooner or later but for the time being I am just accepting that I am supposed to be on a sabbatical from the Internet and TV.
Question: How hooked on TV/Internet are all of you? Do you freak out when it takes a bit longer than usual to download a site? Do you get annoyed waiting 3 minutes during commercial breaks?
Well, let me introduce you to my life as of late. I went through a dark period after I crashed 2 laptops back to back with no computer for 2 WEEKS! I got so desperate I got a library card..........I felt like a dirty old man surrounded by little kids an moms at the library....but hey 55 minutes of FREE Internet access. Just enough time to finish some work emails. Then.......when the hallelujah moment arrived and my laptop came back to me......the next day BRIGHTHOUSE networks was digging stuff up in my lawn and cut my cable. I have been without Cable TV/Internet access at my house for going on 2 WEEKS! Yes, I have not seen the newest Curb or Entourage...........and YES I have not had the pleasure of watching Sportscenter for about 2 weeks at home. And, I am still waiting for Brighthouse to figure this out. What is a guy supposed to do?
Well, I guess I will take it as a blessing in disguise as it has given me plenty of time to reflect on my life path and on how I should draft a WR this year in fantasy football. Yes, I vow to actually have a WR that scores a point for me in a game, something I just realized was my "Achilles Heel" not only last season but the last 3! Watch out league....this little sabbatical has turned me into a superhuman! Let's just hope I have corralled the real use of my bizzaro tech skills by the time the NFL season gets underway.
So, Be thankful you have all of modern technology at your fingertips and remember this guys tale before you get angry at a slow download.
It's Back to Fight the Evil! Although It Will Probably Deceive You!

It's once again time to gather together, bitch, whine, criticize others, put up a front and pretend to know what the hell you're doing for the 2011 Lombardi's Party Draft.
Draft date is set for Sunday, Sept. 4th at 11am.
-$100 entry fee is due at the Draft.
-You must draft your own team. NO AUTODRAFTING!
-If you cannot make the draft please let me know immediately!
-Draft will be held at Casa de Tucci
-Draft Lottery will be held during the weekend of Aug 13th. Lottery is not mandatory to attend, but we will discuss and vote on payouts and rule changes.
If this doesn't make the case for replay, nothing will.
Along with the sequel to Sherlock Holmes this December will also be the 4th installment of Mission Impossible and a new Sacha Baron Cohen movie called The Dictator. It's actually loosely based on a book written by Saddam Hussein himself, but of course Coehn will make a mockery of it in a way only he can.

The MNF opening video is being shot @ Full Sail on Thursday. It's open to the public so wear your fave team's gear & maybe be on ESPN every Monday night. Let's go Dojo!

First time I used such a professional video editor, so I added in some things, and made some corrections in this version.
He almost got a hit yesterday.
Once again Bill Simmons, "The Sports Guy," has shown all his proverbial cards to the world. This time, lambasting the careers of movie stars by analogizing them with the theatrics of NBA starting-lineup introductions. With stretches like this, how is Simmons not playing first base in the majors?
Link to: "The Movie Star" by Bill Simmons
He focuses his pointlessness on Ryan Reynolds and how he's a decent actor but has never carried a successful film. He also goes on to say that almost everyone thinks Will Smith is the biggest movie star in the world, Chris Evans will suck as Captain America and that every Luke Wilson movie is terrible, but let's focus on how clueless Simmons is one erroneous statement at a time.
Simmons lists a bunch of Reynolds' films, citing how a lot of them have not been box office hits, even though he performed admirably in them. This would be true except for the tedious little fact that . . . it's not.
Yes Green Lantern under performed but Simmons, the true pro that he is, goes on to say that the film Definitely Maybe, which Reynolds starred in and carried, barely made back its budget. The film cost $7 million to make and grossed over $55 million. Last time I checked, an 800% profit margin was pretty good even in this economy. Stellar fact checking Simmons, a "Magic 8 Ball" is a more reliable source than you.
More Mensa quality research comes with the declaration that Reynolds' best performance came in 2009's Adventureland, a statement in which you can actually peel off the self-congratulatory sentiment for Simmons having seen and referenced a lesser-known film. He conveniently skips right over films like Chaos Theory and The Nines because, and I'd bet all 27 Yankees World Series rings on it, he's never seen them. Chaos Theory is an even lesser known film, but undoubtedly Reynolds' best performance, it's not even close. But to know that, one would have had to actually done a thorough job, and by Simmons' standards only movie nerds visit meager sites like IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes. Way to have your finger on the pulse of society!
He goes on to discredit other movies stars just because they have not made another chapter in a franchise he's familiar with in the last few years. But the most egregious violation, and what embarrassingly show's that Simmons is holding nothing more than a pair of two's, is that he actually writes that National Lampoon's Van Wilder is not funny. Not only did Reynolds carry that movie fresh off of Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place, not only did it only cost $5 million to produce and take in over $38 million, but it is slowly starting to be realized as the Animal House of the 21st century. If you're the type of person who can watch that film and not laugh, then I definitely want you groped by TSAs every time you step even one foot into an airport. Actually you should just be thrown directly onto the "do not fly list," because people with zero sense of humor scare me the most. And by the way, Animal House only made $276,000 in its first weekend. I guess Simmons should tell all the actors who were in it that they made a flop.
The poignant and hilariously ironic part of this article though is that Simmons spends all this time declaring the qualifications of a movie star, but I wonder if someone wrote a column decreeing who is and is not a legitimate journalist, what side of the fence would they place Simmons?
Actually I don't wonder, I already know.
I usually don't post news about all the advancements in tech or photography, but this one is truly groundbreaking. Like the dawn of digital photos groundbreaking.
A small startup company called Lytro is developing a consumer level "light field" camera. What these cameras do is instead of just recording the light from a scene onto a digital sensor, it takes the light, separates it, and records its color, intensity and direction. This allows the photo to be refocused on any subject after it has been shot. That's the kind of thing you only see done in sci-fi, until now. Also, extremely low-light photos will be able to be manipulated with unprecedented control.
This tech has actually been in existance for a while but in no way was it afordable to the general public nor able to be fitted inside a consumer device.
Definitely a game changer for the industry and a threat to professionals. When this becomes standard in all cameras, no photo will ever be permanently blurry again.
Our old compadre and HOF backstop Bid Daddy Rich will be back in town this Friday, so come one, come all, to our Gator's Bat Cave so we can reunite with one of the original Cobra Kais and watch him get drepressed as the Mets lose and challenges his old nemesis Capt. Tucci to beer slamming.
Probably around 7:30-8pm
Just wanted to make sure everyone is clear, there is no softball game this week. Our next game is on the 24th. Red Bug has a fast-pitch tournament going on this weekend.

Check out Cubans seat......See Vita Water Energy is the Drink of Champions!
Well, Well, Well,.....The Mighty Miami Heat could not seal the deal as the Big 3 Fail to beat a Team. Let's all remember a team is still the best bet to win in any sport. Everybody has to come together to be successful. The same can be said about the Cobra Kai. As much as it pains me to see we are in last place in a very winnable division at Red Bug Lake. We have been playing with a very sporadic and at times incomplete team all season. I take much of the blame as I was absent for half the season due to work constraints and for that I apologize. However, let's not throw in the towel just yet. With the playoffs around the corner all we need to do is start playing Cobra Kai ball and I firmly beleive we have a phenomanal shot at cathing fire and winning the whole damn thing!
I would wager on us in any game when we are playing Cobra Kai ball and at full capacity. I believe we are just about to turn the corner and ready to start our winning streak......which come on.......is long overdue for our team.
Speaking of Winning Streaks.................How about those FIRST PLACE Milwaukee Brewers!!!!! Hottest Team in MLB. And.....Koko before you knock them down, please keep in mind you have a very strong rooting interest in the Crew this week as they descend upon Fenway Paaaaak. IF the First Place Brew Crew keeps rolling they just might help the Yankees get into a playoff position.
Lastly, Juan and Blaze if you want to get some Heat Championship gear I beleive Macy's has a sale on it today.
Check out this WWF Style interview with an amped up Nyger Morgan. You won't see any Yankee's getting this crazy. And....it was Nyger Morgan's walk off hit that busted it open for a Big Win against Richard's Mets. But, Nyger........he is.....ummmmm.......Let's just say Ueker loves talking about him.

Ahh.....The Good Ol Days.
The NBA finals has been pretty good TV so far and props must be given to Dwayne Wade and Juan’s beloved Heat. But why does the media jump all over every angle and expose it to death. Tuesday Do or Die for Mavs!!!! Really, it’s 2-1 Heat and the media is acting like the series is over…..it has to be 2-1 somebody? I must admit right now at this stage Dwayne Wade is playing like he currently holds the title for the Greatest Basketball player on earth, Dirk is a close second. If Dirk had any help on offense It might be different as he has carried that Mavs team and done incredible things. However, D-Wade runs that Heat team and it is absolutely stunning to me to watch Lebron James be a role player.
I don’t know if Coach Spo has some trick up his sleeve or if it is just Lebron sitting back and being amazed at how good D-Wade is, but Lebron has been just that……a role player in this series while D-Wade has proven his greatness. Don’t take this to discredit Lebron as I think it is the right move on his part and the teams part, I just didn’t think that it was that way going into the season. And…does anyone else think Chris Bosh just looks like a douchebag and I still don’t think just cause he hit one big jumper he is back on D-Wade and Lebron’s Big 3 status.
Ok, enough of pumping up DonJuan and Blaze’s Heat…………how about one of the hottest teams in MLB putting it to the Marlins with a HUGE 4 Game Sweep????? The Crew is coming around after starting the season slow because of Greinke’s and fellow All Star Corey Hart’s injuries at the start of the season. Just saying watch out for the Brew Crew!
Another rambling I have to get off my chest is how can we put on trial and basically convict politicians and athletes so quickly in court (Plaxico, Vick, John Edwards) of smaller crimes (not demeaning the crimes just comparing) yet a Women clearly murders her own child (or something pretty damn close) and she is on trial for 3 years and we still have no clear direction???????? I mean shouldn’t this be an open/shut case??? And, we have murderers walk free without having to apologize (OJ!) and politicians accidentally tweet pics of themselves to women and they have to get up and apologize and cry about it???
Lastly, In the words of my hero’s GI JOE….”The More You Know” category just to make you aware when an armed intruder breaks into your place with a mask on and gun and you shoot to kill…..that’s all right……but just don’t over do it or you will go to jail for murder.

An Oklahoma pharmacist shot and killed two armed robbers that attempted to rob his pharmacy. The robbers had masks on and one was armed with a gun. The Pharmacist whipped out a gun of his own and shot and killed the robbers. Well, the pharmacist must have been all geeked up cuz he went over one of the robbers laying on the floor dying and shot him 5 more times…….and the masked gunman turned out to be a 15 year old kid. Nonetheless, the pharmacist ended up being sentenced to life in prison?????? I mean, was he wrong in going overboard by shooting the robber 5 times when he was already out of harms way? Yes, of course. But, does that constitute being put in prison for the rest of his life???? I mean, yes he was wrong but he should be cut some slack since he just had his own life threatened in an unlawful way…….who’s to know how anybody would react? Curious to see if I am looking at this wrong and what the dojo feels about it?
But, I guess the moral of the story is don’t overdo it. Enjoy your Tuesday!
Scotty, Just sent me this email as he was perplexed that this could happen. Again, here is an ESPN stat writer simply pointing out stats not exagerating for some agenda. I know you guys think I do it to push buttons but it is simple truth.
What We're Saying
About Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter
"Jeter's ground ball-to-fly ball rate is 2.34. It's a career worst for Jeter, whose previous high was last year (1.96). And before that, Jeter had never had one higher than 1.55. 'It was fun while it lasted' is a bit cliché, but it's definitely fitting here."

Wow….while traveling to the Far East in search of New Ways to improve our Dojo and to reinvent and better the Kai I encountered many interesting things about China. First, as you may or may not know China is a Communist country and thus the government likes to control the media so their people don’t get the wrong information…..or find out that $300 a month to work in a factory sucks. Secondly, for this reason web sites like Facebook, US Today, and even Google are blocked . However, rest assuredly knowing that at a local computer I was still able to pull up the Dojo……..and then went to set it as a favorite on every computer I encountered….so expectt an increase of Chinese visitors to our site. Side note………what the hell is going on with the Cobra Kai?????? I bragged about our site to everyone I met while in China and the first comment I would get the next day is…..Boy your team is not that good huh? Cmon guys we are waaaaay better than 1-4…..Let’s get back on track Friday!
Next, with all the government filtering it was tough for me to stay abreast of local endeavors and hard to get any NBA scores or other sports news. In a strange way it was actually refreshing not hearing about the NFL labor lockout. However, Koko and friends need not to get worked up as the local ESPN channel (don’t think it was affiliated with ESPN just think they stole the Name) broadcast every Yankee game morning noon and night with a Chinese announcer. I don’t know if Asia likes the Yankees that much cause of Matsui’s stint or they just like fellow Communist style run teams. I wonder if Gorbachev was a Yankee fan as well.
Anyway, nothing beats watching a brutal Yankee/Orioles 11 inning 1-1 game as there is nothing else on TV. However, after the Yankee game it was fun to watch Sumo wrestling and this pretty cool game called arena ball. Sumo wrestling is very entertaining and I really think it could take off in the U.S. if it ever tried to become Americanized. Also, Ping-Pong is pretty cool to watch on TV as well, but don’t try to even pick up a paddle as you will get smoked over there…….trust me I tried and got mercy’d pretty quick.
Also, China is proud of their recent human rights movement. They just invented and now use these high tech “Death Vans” that are used to humanely execute convicted criminals on the spot. In the past they simply shot them allowing blood to run into the streets. Now, with the Death Vans they inject a lethal shot into convicted felons and the best part is that they get to use the criminal for organ donations….so it’s a win-win. One of the locals told me about this and they actually believe this is a step in the right direction. If only the Yankees brass could use this somehow. “Oh, Jeter grounds out into another double play……uh-oh Girardi just called out the Death Van for Jeter, Folks that’s not a good sign.”
Lastly, the Cobra Kai are more popular in China than Mr. Miyagi and Daniel and thus my love of the Chinese. On that note……we must restore the Cobra Kai back to our high standards of winning as we are a historic and proud franchise and we are much, much, better than 1-4. We are still very capable of winning the whole damn thing…….so let’s turn on our inner (Indians from Major League) heart and turn it around in time to win the WHOLE DAMN THING. Tune in tomorrow for Part II of the Ministers trip to China and the secrets I learned about winning for the Cobra Kai.

TMZ reports that legendary wrestler Randy "Macho Man" Savage died this morning after suffering a heart attack while driving his jeep.
Lots of wrestlers have died over the years but he was one of the few golden age cast that is responsible for it's popularity today.
Today should be national "OOh Yeeeeaahhhh" day.
