The bleacher seats didn't look to great. You could hardly see left field from there.

Why would anyone think that anyone would give a shit about a complete hack of a franchise from the top (Hank Steinbrenner, nice flat top), to their 5th rate minor league system.

It must really suck to watch players that were great on other teams, take the Yankees money and then suck. Aroid, CC, Texeira, Damon, Nady all had accomplished careers with other teams and then fell on their face or will once they got to the Yankees. Also, when was the last time that the team actually developed a legit good player from the minors. All I heard about for 2 years is how great Joba, Hughes, Kennedy were and they all suck.
They do not belong in a stadium this nice. The Brewers should play there.

That's a good one Rob, but you missed April Fools by 16 days. Buy a calendar you corn-fed hick.

Fittingly Jeter hits a homer today in the 8th for the first win in the unbelievable new stadium. Jeter has been Mr. April this month.

And what a ludicrous statment to make that Texeira and CC are bust with 11 games played. Texeira is doing fine by the way and CC has pitched excellent in 2 of his 3 outings. And say what you want about A-Rod, but he's had great year after great year for the Yanks. Postseason, not so much but really none of the Yannkees have had good postseaons lately.

By the way, every single team has had players they've traded away or obtained who did not pan out. The Yankees are just under a microscope as usual. What about all the losers they let go of who became nothing. There are too many to list.

I didn't say they were busts. What I said is that they will have worse seasons this year than last year (before they got paid) . That has been the recent history. Yankees pay huge amounts and the players get worse, resulting in a 8 year world series drought.

Also, their minor league system has only produced 1 quality starter (cano)in the last 6 years. That is terrible. I don't count Joba and Cabrera as quality starters.
Every team, including the Yankees, would prefer to develop their own players, but they can't, so they overpay for other teams' players.
