premadonna football players.

what about that fucking dante stallworth. driving his luxury bentley high on alcohol and whatever else was in his system that the law did not test. now a mother and father (assuming the man came from a stable family) is without a son. a wife without her husband children without a father and so on and so forth. you get the fucking drift. why in the hell isnt this man spending the rest of his life in jail. When someone has everything why do they make stupid mistakes. is it because they are human like the rest of us or is it because they take their extra priviliges they have for granted and think that they can buy their way out of trouble. personally if i was rich, without being rich i can tell you that i think i can afford to have a driver when i get hopped up on drugs and alcohol. plus why would i sacrifice all the groupie bitches and free v.i.p. perks i can get for a premature death.

What, you didn't know? If you make a million a year you got a "get out of jail card". Its all horse shit, its a double standard for these overpaid juvenile delinquents.

Yeah Fuck that guy!! That guy should burn, burn, burn. He should be beaten with a wrench while his children watch.

He should be pushed into a bathtub full of thumb tacs.

He should be forced to watch the movie Daredevil, 100 times on a loop.

He should suffer all of this because I picked that loser as a starter on my fantasy team last year and screwed me harder than a coked up Bob Vila.

. . . . oh yeah and because he hurt someone with his car too.

If I were in the pros I would sit in a room stairing at the wall during the offseason and wait for the next season to start. You only get so many years in the league. Shut up, stay out of trouble and make your money! You like clubs sooooo much, build one in your house! You have the money! That way you won't get caught shooting yourself in the god damn foot with an unregisterd gun, or killing someone driving drunk! Oh yeah, and stay out of the dog fighting circuit too!

First off Dr. Naps.......a Hearty Welcome to the Dojo.

Personally, I think these guys live without boundries because first and foremost they have an unlimited amount of money which buys you almost everything and can make you feel invincible.

They have lived the majority of their adult life by THEIR rules and everybody lets them do their own thing because they are talented.....

Let's see what happens to the nobody that killed the Angels pitcher yesterday in much the exact same fashion. If Stallworth's sentence (Which it most likely will not) matches this Dudes than we will feel justified but I have a feeling it wont.

However, we are living in a Newer America....one where money, greed, and power isn't what it once was. If there is one thing to see about the recession were in is that it is certainly bringing us back some values.

Well, let's see how close these two similar cases play out.

I don't think we can lump the Stallworth incident together with some of the other ones. I'm sure he feels terrible about what happened. There was zero intent on his part. To use the "above the law" mentality on this issue is wrong. It had nothing to do with money except for the fact he was driving a Bentley.
It was an accident. I know everyone will say that "he was drunk and shouldn't have been driving", but lets be real. This wasn't your typical drunk driving accident. First of all, he had gone out the night before and had quite a bit to drink. He responsibly took a cab from the club to a hotel and went to sleep. He got up and was driving home at 7:30 in the morning when the accident occurred. He registered above the limit from the night before.
I will guarantee that every single person on this blog has done this many times in their lives. Gotten drunk, passed out, woke up in the morning, drove home still a little tipsy. It doesn't make it right, but like the Bible says" let he without sin cast the first stone"
He should be punished because of the tragedy that he caused, but I don't think he was being a premadonna athlete like some people here are making him out to be.

I agree Regs.......the celebrity treatment will begin with the legal process though.
Reality is many of us will be driving under the influence tonight.

Well I've never driven drunk so I'll cast the first stone! Driving under the influence is pretty much attempted murder in my opinion. If he registered above the limit he was apparently still drunk and should have taken a cab in the morning as well.

thank you for the warm welcome keith G. and i do appreciate all the oppinions of everyone on my topic. i would like to offer follow up comments.
first off, koko, you a fool. i forgot that once upon a time he was a good football player. Bob Vila is a serial rapist??
Kieth G... I can see your point up until the part where you say that this accident is like the one that killed the anahiem angels pitcher (forgive me if the team is wrong). that driver killed three people and one other poor bastard is fighting for his life if he isnt dead at this time. and to dante's credit he did not flee the scene. the dude that killed the three and severly injured the fourth fled the scene if i am correct. that dude would be facing three counts of murder where dante stallworth is facing manslaughter charges.
Regs, my man, i like the devils advocate roll you are playing. Also respect for quoting the bible. like i said, i will ease up on him because at least he did not flee the scene. Yes i have driven drunk in my heavy drinking days when i really shouldnt have. but i never killed anyone drunk driving. there is a certain amount of negligence at work in the act of KILLING someone while you are driving, wouldnt you agree. he had a night to sober up according to what you say, and the sun was up. with all due respect, how can you minimalize this act by calling it an accident. does anyone know if mario reyes, by the way that is the pedestrian dante killed, had children, most likely he did. I hope he was a good father. anyway unless its in self defense, killing is killing.
Big up to all you free thinkers. looking forward to reading reactions.
