Quentin Richardson has been on quite a wild ride this summer. Traded 4 times in a month! He played for the Knicks last season. He was traded from the Knicks to the Memphis Grizzlies then 3 weeks later to LA Clippers. 3 days later he's sent packing back to the midwest to the Minnesota T-Wolves. Just this week he was shipped to the Miami Heat.
With all the talk/posts recently of athletes not "getting it," seems like Q does. He is quoted as having a positive outlook on the deals knowing he's still getting paid millions to play a game & he has it good in life. The Anti-TO?
"To me, it's all in fun. I'm unbelievably blessed to be in this situation regardless. I could have been traded however many times, but I'm blessed to have a guaranteed contract. There's not a whole lot to be feeling too bad about. I don't know anybody who has everything go the way they want it to be. There are people out here struggling a lot more than I am. Where I could be complaining about being traded too often in the NBA? In the grand scheme of things, that's not a big problem."

What? Huh? Was there a point to this post about a below average, mediocre, nobody of the NBA????
Are you mocking him...or are you alluding to the point that you think he gets it and is the anti TO.
Sully, if that is your point I will give you a tip. What management and people say in the media is not always the truth. In life actions speak much louder than words.
And the fact he gets traded from team to team and essentially for nothing says alot. Look at what he was traded for.....pretty much nothing. It is a sign these teams want that worthless piece of garbage out of their locker room so he doesn't drag down the rest of the team.
Q....is regarded as one of the biggest turds in the NBA...is there talent there....YES.....and that's what get's teams interested in taking a chance on him for essentially trading nothing.......but then they meet him and see he is a huge douche bag and they want to get rid of him.
It's like the girl that is semi hot...but really crazy and all your friends have slept with her once or twice but nobody has really dated her....cause she is a loony. But after a long night of drinking and being the only girl around...everybody takes a shot.
I guess what I'm trying to say is Q is a know douche.....but what exactly was the point of your post?
Keith, I think you read into the article a little too much.
The "Anti TO" comment was a jab at TO or any other athlete that doesnt realize they're being paid to play a game while most of the world struggles to live paycheck to paycheck...not about Q's career or what/who he has been traded for. Q realizes he is lucky to play a game for money & lives a great life.
In this economy, all the teams have reduced long term payroll by trading for Q.

I agree with Keith. Q has been known as a lazy, overrated great natural athlete who has never developed his skills in the NBA and just gets by on his natural skills that he was born with. So I guess he is lucky to have been born with extraordinary athletic ability and height.
I guess he is the anti- T.O. in 2 regards then because T.O. (although I don't like him) came from nowhere and made himself into an elite player with a ridiculous workout regimine. If Q had even half of the desire to be the best and work ethic of T.O., he would be a star.
Quite the Contrary Sully. This douche has a guaranteed contract and is simply a lazy bum. He is happy because he is guaranteed millions of dollars and now he doesn't have to work at his craft again till his contract year......where he will most likely show flashes of potential once again when some idiot GM gives him another shot with a contract.
Then....he will do the same thing....show up to work and NOT work and just cash millions of dollars for doing essentially nothing.......So NO Sully....this guy is not a good guy nor does he deserve any type of props for "Getting it".........Getting What????
Getting that he gets paid millions of dollars to sabotage teams and he doesn't get mad about it???? Of course he's cool with it......how could he not be???
It's like he won the lotto.
