Good Luck

Posted by Keith G.

Well, once a Cobra Kai...Always a Cobra Kai. However, the Famous Kai Dojo would like to wish a belated Birthday and best wishes to original charter member and Cobra Kai rookie JW aka Jonathan West. JW has decided to pursue other endeavors such as flying a Chopper for Uncle Sam.

The team would like to wish him good luck and let him know we will miss his Tomahawk Chop and his unique beer slamming abilities. My prediction is that our pitcher output could dip a few the first couple weeks and we may be in trouble of not breaking our team records.

The Cobra Kai's still are intact for the most part from their original founders......a few have changed teams and Smokey got called up to Beantown but now we must add JW to this illustrous list.

Anways, JW also wanted to pose a question to the dojo.

What do Journeyman players in the NFL do for housing when they change teams? Do they rent, buy, or stay at a hotel??????????

Apparently, this question was burning up JW on Christamas day because he asked me this question and I didn't give him a good enough answer because he wanted it posted for the dojo to explain.

I will surely miss JW. Wait a minute, I already do. MIAMI DOLPHINS #1!!!!!!!

My guess would be the pole smoker is a fan of the evil empire who's baseball team has such a depleted farm system that they have to overpay free agents just in hopes of competing for once

The guy looks like Clark Homo. Ha ha ha. Anyway, goodluck JW. I will miss you, you big BEAR. Who cares about those football players?

CC Sabathia = $160,000,000.00
AJ Burnett = $80,000,000.00
Mark Teixeira = $180,000,000.00

Pissing off Boston fans and outsmarting the Red Sox organization = Priceless

Good luck J-Dub, your presence will greatly missed. Do me a personal favor though, as soon as you can get your hands on one of those Airwolf helicopters, drop a big one on that Boston/French man who doesn't know how to work the Intra-net.

We'll miss you bro.

.... Oh and go fuck yourself!!

New Player
CC Sabathia 18 wins

Replacing
Mike Mussina 20 wins

Net result for the Yankees -2

New Player
AJ Burnett 18 Wins

Replacing
Ponson/Ratner/Pavano 17 wins

Net Result for Yankees +1

New Player
Mark Teixera 33 HRs

Replacing
Jason Giambi 32 HRs

Net Result for the Yankees +1

HMMMMM

By my calculations the Yankees spent a lot of money, but didn't get a whole lot better, if at all. In addition, their minor leagues are so depleted that they didn't even have enough fire power to acquire Mike (swiss army knife) Cameron.

Oh my god! Please Regs, you don't really believe that "fuzzy math," as your hero W would say.

The Yanks pitching rotation will be Sabathia, Wang, Chamberlain, Burnett, and possibly Pettitte or Sheets. That's unarguably miles better than last season.

As for Ponson/Rasner/Pavano, did you actually argue those 3 guys as a plus for the Yankees last year? Ponson played in 25 games with an over 5 ERA, Rasner was 5-10 with an over 5 ERA and Pavano must be stuck in one hell of a layover on his flight from the Marlins becasue I've never seen the fucking guy pitch.

I won't even go into detail on the Mark Teixeira comment because that's just a silly thing to say. He's a great hitter and a huge defensive upgrade.

And you must be getting your Yankee info from Keith becasue the reason the Cameron deal died is mostly due to Melky showing major improvement at the plate in Winter ball. The Yanks have never even offered prospects for Cameron. They actually have quite a few coveted prospects but are unwilling to include them in any trade talks.

Sorry Brew Crew, looks like it will be another 26 long years 'till the next playoff appearance.

Good luck J DUBS , see ya in a couple weeks.
Lets not be ridiculous Brewer fans , I dont think the Yanks win it all but no doubt they will be much improved !
Sheets? Ouch Brew crew. That would be solid.
Fuck you all....GO MARLINS !

I actually argued that AJ would be an improvement for the yankees.(for the record)
The point is that Sabathia will probably not win more games than Mussina did last year (20), considering he has never won that many. I also think that the Teixera signing smells a lot like the Giambi signing a few years ago. He might be a little better at the plate and better defensively, but not significantly better.

I don't believe Giambi has ever come close to winning a gold glove so the improvement defensively is very considerable. The Yanks have not had a stable 1st baseman since Tino.

Sure Mussina won 20 but let's not act like it's something he did every year. It was the first time he ever did that. Truthfully I am nervous about Sabathia because big pitchers like that usually do not stay at a high level for very long, but we'll see. I'd still really like to see the Yankees get Sheets though.

Of course no amount of money can buy you a championship. The team still has to play as a unit and come up big in big situations, but the Yankees are definitely the team to beat next year.

Go Badgers!!!oops, I mean Florida State, bitches! Don't listen to those cheese heads. The Yankees will dominate next year and will win a championship if A-Rod shows up in the postseason.

But what the hell do I know, I'm a Mets fan. :(
