For the past 15 plus years my favorite rocker Mr. Axl Rose has been toying with my emotions along with the other 15 die hard GNR fans left in the world by hinting he might actually release the bands next masterpiece album "Chinese Democracy."
Well, Dr. Pepper has had enough and has decided to throw down the gauntlet. Today the company is announcing that it will give a free Dr Pepper to everyone in the U.S. (except for maybe Slash) if Axl releases the album before the end of 2008.

Before there was guitar hero, there was drunk "Lamp Shade" hero as you can see the fine work being put in by Scotty and myself doing our best rendition of "Welcome to the Jungle"
Let's all hope, Axl can get Chinese democracy out this year, not only to enjoy his lyrical masterpieces but also to get that free Dr. Pepper!

Your pic looks a little like a Frank Sinatra impersonation. Anyway, I do want to see the crazy white boy make a new album.
Axl rose has a great and unique voice and i always enjoyed GnR, but there is a reason he has never had success again......because Slash wrote all the music for GnR ! together tho it would be nyyyyyyyyyce !

axl has nothing that even merely resembles a voice...let alone the gravelly one he used to have...GNR was dead the day they started kicking out their roll and roll bandmates for using drugs...huh..what..jackasses
Actually I agree and disagree with Blaze. I think Axel had a great rock voice once upon a time, but when he tried that semi-comback on the MTV Awards it was obvious he had nothing left.
I say unless Slash is involved, I'm not interested in a Axel solo album with KFC 10-piece extra value meal bucket head or whatever that guy's name is.
