Wow! Somehow the “Epic” Superbowl Lived up to the Hype and provided us with a phenomenal game and an even greater outcome. Title town USA now has another championship and the aptly named Lombardi trophy is safely in Green Bay, WI and the 100,000 plus owners. What a great story, and this isn’t even a Big Fish review.
As part owner and #80,875 on the season ticket waiting list I want to thank all for their undying support over the years and even the great #KokoKnows on Twitter was quick to give a big prop shout out to SuperBowl MVP Aaron Rodgers. However, more than anything I hope this is a great lesson on never giving up and what a great model the NFL is for other sports, a common discussion we have had on the Dojo.
First off was any of the World Series Games “Must See” watching events?? Was an NBA Finals game a Must see or gather with friends even? Hell No. Yes, they were exciting games but entire days were not dedicated to them like the Superbowl. This is because in the NFL a small city can compete with the big boys. It’s not about how much you can outspend the other teams it’s about how well you build your team.
Pretty much the entire Green Bay Roster was built through the draft. You won’t see that happening in Baseball and/or the NBA any time soon. This is the beauty of the NFL. It doesn't matter how rich you are; it matters how resourceful you are. You don't buy championships like the Yankees; you build them like the Packers.
But I digress. Did you see Vegas had to pay out both sides of the National Anthem prop bets because of Christina Aguilera’s gaffe? Koko, I think you better tell Alexa we need a recount and Fig better not spend his money. Also, my vote for the best commercial was the Doritos one where the Grandpa and Fish were re-carnated. However, I will give honorable mentions to the Richard Lewis Snickers commercial, Darth Vader kid, and even Eminem’s Chrysler commercial got me a little amped up. Let’s all revel in the Greatness of the Green Packer organization whom now has the most championships in NFL history and the most of the last 50 Years.
So let’s take their winning example and use it in our every day lives and on the battlefields of Red Bug Lake. Let’s Go Hit Em With the Kenny G!!!!!!

Congrats again on the SB win Keith.
But unfortunately the championship has not improved your habitual overstatements.
First, we've been over this already with the Super Bowl, you can not compare a one-game championship to a 7-game series. It's not even a legitimate conversation.
And if the NFL way is so perfect, why are the owners ready to cancel next season?
And no, Vegas is not paying out anything to anyone who lost. It's just one online sportsbook who has decided to pay out on both in what can only be explained as a good PR move.
If she was halfway through the song and then got tackeled by Troy Polamalu, then that's the end of the song. Besides if you just gave everyone a "win" on that prop then it doesn't change the outcome of the pool anyway.
If xtina would have gotten tackled by Troy P. that would have given him one more solo tackle than he got in the entire game.
What a win!!!
Unfortunately I haven't been with my blackberry the last 2 days because I thought it would be a good idea to jump into a pool, fully clothed with my blackberry and my wallet in my pocket (thankfully, my 1997 1st row ticket stub from the Spice girls concert remained still in tact).
Living without my phone has been torture. All I want to do is call my friends and talk about the game and I can't.
Sorry I couldn't make it to the party. I'm sure it was fun.
Am I the only one that saw a lot of Joe Montana in Rodgers? I think we can get at least 3 more out of him.
Told ya Regs a couple yrs ago.Letting that drama queen go was the right move.
He kept the team handcuffed for drafts and such with prolonged decision making. Thats not a team player.
How worse could it have ended for Farve , horrible team after another prolonged un-retirement.
Injuries.
Then the guy he refused to take under his wing just won as many as he did.
Ohhh , dont forget he tried to bang all the women on the jets staff.
Just sad Farve.
And oh yeah Koke , that thrilling Giants vs Rangers world series was much better than the superbowl.

Who said the last year's World Series was better than this Super Bowl?
I just said you can't compare the event of a Super Bowl to a 7 game series of any sport.
You have to compare the Super Bowl to other 1-shot events otherwise the comparison holds zero validity.
And even with that in mind, there are plenty of single games in the series througout the years that were way more exciting than a lot of Super Bowls. The Super Bowl has been on a great run lately with the last 4 but there have been a fair share of crappy games as well.
I love those little passive aggresive cheat shots that Keith takes. Koko is going to kill himself one day. Keeps me reading the Dojo.
Congrats to the Packers. Nice touch with the championship belt.
