Who is happy with the NBA Playoffs?

Posted by Prosthetic Johnson

I personaly wouldn't mind seeing the Thunder beat the Lakers. Kevin Durant is turning out to be an amazing baller and this is only the begining of his career. The Celtics are looking good as well. I know they are old but it seems like they have one more championship in them. Is this the year to win another one for them? Or will the Lebrons pull it off? It's down hill for the Celtics after this year. The Heat are hanging on but they are not a strong team. Before the Playoffs, I thought the Nuggets had a chance but the Jazz is taking it to Denver. I think the Jazz is an underrated team and one of their best players, AK-47, has been out of the seen so far. I'd like to hear the Kai's thoughts on who they think will make it to the finals and be crowned the champs of 2010.

The Spurs Vs Mavericks is a pheonomanal series. San Antonio is that crafty, veteran, scrapping team battling it out with their in-state rival. Great Series so Far.....VERY Physical.

Deron Williams for the Jazz is playing out of his mind and carrying them......sad is it is for me to say AK-47 has been a shell of himself for the last 3 years and he is really a non factor on that team. Their biggest loss was Memhot Okur. Thought for sure they were toast when they lost him. However, They are still fighting strong....testament to Jerry Sloan....He is one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Celtics...Stick a fork in them. Their run is way over. KG and Ray Allen are to broken down. They will beat the lowly Heat but after that their toast and won't sniff an Eastern Conference Championship for a long time.

Here goes again. I will copy it before I click Publish Your Comment. Koko, it's happened on computers at home and at work.

What up Pro Jo? My picks to come out of the West were the Mavs or Jazz if it's not the Lakers...then 2 things happened. Jazz lost Okur and like Dinger, I thought the Jazz wouldnt make it past the Nuggs...but they have their own problems. Coach Karl is a huge loss b/c Interim Dantely looks lost on the bench while the team is playing it's worst at the wrong time of the year.

Dirk prob won't ever win a ring. This is the deepest team he's ever played on. I think a full season of games with that Mavs roster and they could've challenged the Cavs for best record...especially if they played an Eastern Conf (read: weak) schedule. Spurs are a deep team also with Championship experience but I still liked the Mavs in this series. George Hill was on fire last night & stepped up huge while Timmy D was shooting blanks.

Are you being force fed Celtics praise in Bean Town???? The Celtics win this series b/c they're playing a one man team in the D Wades. Celts are a good team, but an aging one. No way they make it past the Cavs...but I hope they physically beat down the LeBrons.

The Finals winner will be either the Cavs or my Magic!!! It is going to be a hell of a series for the Magic to get past the Cavs this year after GM Ferry made 2 huge moves for the sole purpose of trying to help his team match up better against the Magic. 1. Bringing in Shaq to eff w/ Dwight also made Ben Wallace expendable as he couldn't guard Dwight or Rashard. 2. Jamison to play against Rashard. They're the same type of great outside shooting PF & can guard anywhere on the court. I can see the Magic winning the series but like I said, it will be hard fought and I can also see them losing this one. Let's go Magic!!!!!!!

Dinger, I agree with you about Coach Sloan being one of the best ever. He takes no B.S. & makes his players work hard. I like him.

Notice the common link is that they are YOUR computers.

Sully, I am being fed too much Celtic praise up here but I feel the Celtics have the experience. Also I agree with you and dinger that with experience, they are broken down and may not last. That's why I said they may have one championship left in them.

The simple fact is the cav's and magic are greater teams. They are younger, stronger and more talented. It would be better for all if they were matched up for the confrence semi-finals. I would love the new superman take it to the old superman.

The Lakers are still the best on the west. Especialy after hearing your thoughts on them. They are also more talented then the rest.

I have 2 things to say:

1. If the Suns or Mavs win the championship, I am $1500 richer. I placed a $50 on each before the season at 30-1. So I hope they win.

And

2. FEAR THE DEER!!!!!!!!

Durantula vs LBJ in the finals ???????
The Celts can push the Cavs and the Magic to 6 or 7 games but would fall short.
The playoffs have been entertaining thus far.
My boys are in a lame duck season (free agency)
but how bout my boy D's performance.
AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wade County was nasty but how about Labron's game??? He was sick. He nailed at least six threes and one was from half- court. He also posted a triple- double.

Rob, "Feer the Deer" would have more life if they still had Bogut healthy.

Every team has their problems this year. I've only watched a few mins of C's vs Wade. Garnett did look healthier & more mobile on the bad leg than he did mid-season so that is a plus for them. Like Diggler said, C's will be able to win 2 vs LeBrons or Magic, but that is about it. Wade is nasty we know, but he's gonna have to play like that every game just to have a chance to win a series as the Heat roster currently stands. Does is re-sign & stay is the biggest question.

I am rooting for the Thunder vs La La Land. They had the best record in the West but they sure aren't playing like the best team right now.

How crazy is it that B Roy comes back 8 days after surgery?! I don't know how that series will go, but I love Nash so rooting for the Suns in that one.
