Kanye pulls a douche move but he will probably benefit from it in the long run. MTV loves the publicity and we all talk Kanye.
People just don't respect other people, their jobs, or just plain decency anymore.
Even the revered Tom Brady had to pull a dick move on Andrea Kramer last night running away from her interview. Now, yes....I understand he may have had his reasons.....but don't yell back to her....I can't hear you then....just say I have to get back to the locker room I'm sorry.
It's a matter of not appreciating what they have in life Keith. Also, you shouldn't say everyone, because it's not. It's just that assholes are louder. They can't all be Derek Jeter you know.
After an amazing victory like that, Brady can't take 20 seconds to say something to all the fans that just spent 3 hours watching him on TV. Instead he makes poor Suzie Kolber run beside him all the way to the tunnel. It's not like she was stalking him outside his home. IT'S ON THE FUCKING FIELD AFTER THE GAME. Really Brady? Really!!!? If he would have said, "I'm sorry I have to get back to screwing my supermodel wife." I'd understand, but no he was just being the dick that he is.
And with Kanye, that guy has just reached a level of douchedom that few have been able to achieve. The guy is a piece of garbage and he's proved it time and time again.
I liked seeing Jennifer Lopez have to uncomfortably hug Eminem. "Sorry Puff but I don't give a fuck is this chick was my own mother, I'd still fuck her with no rubber and come inside her and have a son and a new brother at the same time and just say that it ain't mine!" HAHAHA
please, please, please, can we put things into their proper perspective. People are acting like this chick won a Grammy or something. IT WAS THE FUCKING MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS.
This is the same network that had a bare ass Bruno land on Eminem's face, had Howard Stern appear as "fartman", had Andrew Dice Clay perform his stand-up. I could go on and on but you get the idea. It is not exactly an awards show built on class and dignity.
I think that Kanye went over the line, but come on. People are acting like this chick's life is going to be ruined. Like being interupted on stage is the worst possible thing you could ever do. She didn't win an emmy, or a grammy, or a Oscar. She won a fucking moonman,on a show where there are so many awards given out that practically everyone who shows up gets one.
P.S.- on an unrelated note, last Sunday marked the 17th anniversary of my first one night stand with a chick. It was my first night in college and, after a house party, we went back to my dorm room and got it on, while watching the VMAs. Ahhhh sweet memories

I don't care about Taylor Swift, I didn't even know she existed until this thing. But if you're so concerend about keeping things in perspective then don't pretend that Kanye is any less of a complete tool than he really is.

Kanye has always been an asshole. I wasn't surprised at all by what he did. It was so "in character" for him that I thought it was staged at first.
I just hope that Taylor Swift has higher career goals than to win a moonman. She seems to be talented and popular. I can't believe you guys don't think that this has been blown out of proportion.

She's rich, popular, won an award. Already achieved some pretty high goals for a kid if u ask me. Although I doubt she's ever gonna cure a major disease or become president but i don't think thats on her agenda!
If you have not seen it yet, you have to see the South Park with Kanye West in it. It came out some time last year. They rip him a new asshole in it. He deserves every bit of it. Go to Comedycentral.com and you can see it for free. "Fish sticks in my mouth, I don't get it."
I'll give you an idea of why I think it was blown out of proportion.
Today I worked out at Gold's. In front of the cardio area there are 8 televisions all on different stations. During my 45 minute workout, Fox, cnn, cnbc, local news, Mike and Juliet, and Regis and kelly all talked about it. When I was driving to see a client, the BS on real radio spent an hour on it and when I switched the station to Ryan Seacrest, he was talking about it and as we speak, the lead story on the Yahoo home page is Obama's reaction to Kanye West.
We are talking about an incident that lasted about a minute. It was during a minor award ceremony that most people don't take seriously. There was no profanity, no nudity, no violence. Why is this even a story? She still received her award and was able to give an acceptance speech. No harm, no foul.
kanye is a dick. He has always been a dick. But as long as he makes good music, people will buy his music regardless.
Regs a major star just made a complete ass out of himself on national tv so of course you're going to hear about it on entertainment and entertaiment based news stations for a couple of days. That's the expected reaction. It's not like his record label dropped him or he's being thrown in jail or something. That would be a crazy overreaction. People calling him a douche bag on tv for a couple of days is exactly what he deserves.
Also, this is not the first time Kanye has been a douche bag so all this reaction is really the cumulation of all his retarded antics and people have had enough of him.
And it's NOT no harm, no foul. That girl went back stage and cried her eyes out on what should have been a great moment in her life.
I really hope he lost a lot of fans and continues to fall out of favor.
Maybe if he had government sponsored healthcare, he wouldn't be so uptight?

Keith, some reporter asked Obama what he thought was off the record about the Kanye thing and he gave an off the cuff answer. If you heard the whole tape it's actually kind of cool to hear him just talking like an everyday guy. He should do more of that and stop worrying about everyone liking him.

Well you must have watched something esle there Double S. Brady could hear her just fine. He tried to blow her off right away. He kept saying "I'm going straight in, I'm going straight in."
No fuckhead you're not, stop for a second and answer a damn question. Kudos to Kolber for running beside him and making look like a total jerk. He must have thought how bad this was looking and had to slow down and give an answer.

He said in Boston if Brady doesn't keep moving he will be bombarded with constant media. Thus, he has to keep moving or he will be there all day.
