Why would a mildly successful College Coach interview for an NFL job if his employer told him that if interviews for this job he would be terminated?????
According to ESPN.COM Boston College coach Jeff Jagodzinski has been told he will be fired if he interviews for the head coaching vacancy with the New York Jets, which is scheduled for Monday, according to sources. Despite the threat from athletic director Gene DeFilippo, Jagodzinski plans to do the interview with the Jets, the sources said.
How many of our loyal readers have heard of Jagodzinksi before????? I know Reger will be very familiar with him. With all the great coaches out there why would Jagodzinksi lure Brett out of Retirement?
Well, I'm not Chris Mortensen but my guess is he knows something...................and that something I think is the fact that the Jets brass want...check that NEED Brett Favre to come back and they think Jagodzinski is just the guy to lure Brett back.
Well, for one Him and Brett are buddies. Jagodzinski was tight ends coach for the Packers from 1999-2002 and offensive coordinator for the 2006 season before BC came calling.
Just my little hunch but if you see Jagodzinki hired I think you can cue the Rocky music as the summer of Brett will most assuredly mean he is looking for a reunion with his buddy and looking forward to going out on top.
I give it to the Jets Brass they really are throwing all their cards on the table and putting everything on Brett. Whether this is the right decision or not it is obviously the path they have chosen.....................and I promise this is the last post about Brett until after the Super Bowl................speaking of the Koko Bowl (I have officially renamed it in honor of Koko's legendary Super Bowl parties) sorry to Fins fans for that brutal loss yesterday. Curious to hear if you stand by your hero Pennington still?????

Well a great season is over for us Dolphin fans , but what a season it was.
In a rebuilding year to do what we did is incredible.
The fact that we will have BOO-KOO money next year and a Jimmy Johnson amount of draft picks ( 1st and 2 2nd's) I think we are well on our way.
St. Pennington's issue is different.
Obvious he is still the starter next year but he is not the long term guy I dont believe.
So if the scenario of lets say 2-6 comes next year it would be time to begin developing our future QB Henne who looks to have all the tools. ( i been impressed).
That being said , Chad would look better when our two staring guards come back, and Anquan Boldin or TJ WhouzryoMomma is lining oppo Teddy Ginn.

The BC coach wants to blow Favre, just like Keith wants to. The Dolphins came up lame and made Ed Reed look like The Flash. With all that said, Dolphin fans have something to be proud of.

i actually know Jags a little. He went to high school (West Allis Central) with one of my college roommates and they remain friends. I met him a few times at different gatherings throughout the years. He's a good guy, but being a head NFL coach in New York might be a little above him. He has only been a head coach for 2 years and was only a coodinator for 1 in the NFL and didn't call plays.
The owner of the Jets is not stupid. He knows that their only shot next year is if Favre plays up to his 2007 form. Kellen Clemans can suck a dick.

You know there is only one city who has sports franchises that are ALL consistent the Pats,Celtics and Red Sox have all won a title in the past 4 years and the Bruins will be soon to follow.
