Thoughts Anyone?

Posted by Prosthetic Johnson

My brothas. I came up on this article and was wondering your thoughts. I'm up for redesigning the currency but I don't know about putting Obama in the new bills. Althought it won't matter in a few decades anymore for our country's economy seems to be turning to shit with all the money they ar pumping out.

The Upshot

What a great idea! First the Nobel Peace prize for doing nothing and now lets put him on our currency before he is even done with his first and last term. What a fucking joke! Lets change the money in this country, that will fix all the problems. What a waste of money, pun fucking intended!

It's just a mock-up from a British designer, calm down Rich.

However, it's interesting to see how Obama is viewed outside this country compared to his own constituents.

Why are they able to see the improvments in the US with Obama in charge but the people who actually live here remain so clueless?

I'm not so sure of the improvements that have been made and are so noticeable. At least I haven't felt an immediate effect. It is easy for someone looking in to see that as a country "we've changed" because we elected a minority president. Color was a topic for some and wasn't for others.

Still, I think we can think of other people to put on our currency. i.e. Martin Luther King, jFK, FDR etc....

I'm not saying he should be on the $1 dollar bill either. And the rest of the world sees our change as much more than just a minority president, but as one that is actually intelligent.

A monumental effect Obama has had on this country came within his first 3 months. Unfortunately it's one that we will always take for granted and that he gets absoultely zero credit for.

Obama should be on the Food Stamp.

You know, you're not very nice to someone who took the burden of 40 million uninsured people off your industry's hands.

That is fucking hilarious. Obama on the food stamp.

AAHHHHHHAHAHA....the only thing funnier is the thought of the kids of the poor people on foods stamps....AHHHHHAHAHAH! Stupid poor people! They are all just lazy anyway. There's absolutely no other reason why people are struggling.....I CANT WAIT FOR 2012!

I didn't say that people who are on food stamps are funny. I feel sorry for the unfortunate and in some cases, unlucky. You liberals overblow everything.

I would seriously like to know what visible proof is needed to prove Obama is better than Bush. Was everyone's eyes closed the last 10 years? All I ever seem to read and hear lately is that people have a view of "seeing" changes and not seeing them. How are people to see instant changes when the economy and the direction of our country didn't happen overnight. It still seems the most intelligent minds in our country would rather settle all this in the same bizarre, fast-food style, slick-ass manner we have become accustomed to. You cannot fix the mess all the elephants and donkeys made overnight. I am dismayed that as much as we learn and know what needs to be done to get back on track, all the people in the ring right now care about is to keep up the arguing and eventually we will go away. Everyone needs to stop thinking about America as a your either this or that mentality. There will be no instant gratification on this issue. If people don't figure this out, we will not be a SuperPower, rather a SuperFail. America can't take the ignorant road anymore. We are in real trouble and just need to agree to agree that this country is messed up and it will take all of us making sacrifices, me, you, elephants and donkeys. Those who forget the past are deemed to repeat it. It's a sad lesson that seems to be viewed today as, oh, not us. We're too advanced, we've come too far. Every empire failed, thanks to greed. Last time I checked, America is as greedy as ever. You elephants and donkeys keep fighting while the man behind the curtain justs keeps laughing and counting his money.

Nice chime-in Blaze.

And yeah Regs, exaggeration is exclusively a "liberal" thing.

How far is the daily commute to your planet man?
