Trade Deadline, Wednesday November 10 - (After Week 9)
Rule Changes from ‘09
- A Defensive forced fumble is now worth 1 point regardless of whether the defense recovers the fumble. A recovered fumble is still worth 2 points. So if your defense forces and recovers a fumble you can get a total of 3 points.
- Negative Defensive Points have been lowered
22-27 points allowed = -1
28-34 points allowed = -3
35-45 points allowed = -4
46+ points allowed = -6

I have a favor to ask. If there are people who could care less about the draft date, please pick Saturday the 4th. I have a conflict on the 5th.

I am working both nights , but the 5th may be the easiest to trade off with someone. I ll see.
Also if I still must work I might need to start it an hour earlier since im on the road to work by 4pm.
I hope for most that is not a problem since most you guys are off on a sunday anyways
I was planning on going down south for a Braves @ Marlins game that weekend. Does it have to be done that weekend?

Also, Just an FYI Sat. Sept. 4th UCF has their first home opener game at 6 PM. .....Unless we want to do a noon draft and then head over to tailgate? But my vote is for Sunday.....Sorry Regs.
What about Monday the 6th? Does everybody have Labor Day off from work?
what up guys!! damn it's been so long since I've been on here, I had to reset my password!! I'll definitely be at the draft, and I'm determined to come back after a pathetic 2-11 season!! Sunday the 5th works the best for me.

Ok we have a majority vote. The Draft will be on Sunday, Sept 5th. 11am.

I vote for Monday if we can. It is Labor Day. Who has to work on Monday? I won't get back in time on Sunday if I go down to Miami (which I really want to go.) C'mon you Marlins fans, I'm trying to spend $ in your stadium which maybe the owner will spend next year on a new free agent.
Dude, it's over. The draft is Sunday. We already have a majority.
I think points winner should at least get a $100 and maybe $100 for toilet bowl. That would keep the playoffs interesting for more people. That would still leave $850 for 1st place. Not bad.
Yeah we discussed that, but no one wanted to give money to a non playoff team.
And originally it was $100 for the points winner but we decided 2nd place deserved it more.
Why wasnt Monday an option? You only gave options for Saturday or Sunday. I demand a revote with Saturday, Sunday, and Monday as options.

Like I said, we already have a majority vote for Sunday the 5th. Unless 8 people tell me they want it on a different day, it has to stay on what was voted for.
And Sully, the day to mention Monday as part of the vote was on Sunday when we were at my house discussing all of this.
Could we at least discuss a different time? Honestly, I have one other draft that whole weekend and it happens to be at the exact same time.
I know Juan has an issue where he has to work on Sunday night so I tried to make it as early as possible without being ridiculous. I think 11am is pretty doable. It usually takes about 4-5 hours.
