I can't beleive that made Sportscenter. If it led to O'Leary getting fired then I could understand it.

It was a brilliant move by Coach. I didn't know he actually had it in him....but it gives me a renewed sense of optimism for the upcoming year.

This gets the program nationaly attention....and while stodgy old man thinks it might be innapropriate.......young stud recruit thinks its awesome....hey I want to go play for UCF....or hey UCF is cool.

Cmon Koko....anytime ESPN can talk about a Hot Chick, Football, and controversy.........they have to air it......

Keith, from what I've heard, Coach didn't know what the photoshoot was going to be of. It's not a brilliant move by Coach to sign off on it. It just happens that Axis shot a Playmate & the controversy is coming down on the school instead of Axis.

I've been following the Axis side of the story from the Axis on facebook since before the "controversy" as I know their lead Sales & Marketing man, Rick Wheeler. They love the pub their little magazine is getting. I get a daily "Top 10" sports stories from yardbarker.com and yesterday's #1 was of the photoshoot. I sent the email to Rick & he thought it was awesome.

I'm not saying Axis should get into trouble for the shoot, because it goes along with every cover they do. I love their mag and have seen pictures of myself and friends on their pages before.

Maybe Coach should have asked a couple more questions about the shoot. There were no players involved so UCF doesn't have to worry about violations stemming from that.

This story may have just hits pinnacle yesterday at ESPN but it has been in the local papers for a over a week now.

If you go back and look at the sentinel for this week you will see about 10 stories about UCF football.....half of them starting with this story and then breaking into actual breakdown of their upcoming season.

Have you ever heard the phrase "Any Press is Good Press"?

In an area that UCF struggles to get coverage because of UF, Miami, and FSU this is great for them.

Not too mention the Coach is just covering up for someone which makes him look better to players even more.

The story started off as an unamed UCF employee that didn't have authority to allow this shoot allowed it.......then a few days later George said he did........obviously taking the "So Called" bullett......but lookin like a hero all around.

As a UCF fan....are you offended by this????? Of course not....nobody is....it's a funny story that gets them great press.

Maybe you should get them to do this at your Ice Cream shop.....I guarantee sales would triple after the video leaked.

Axis put links up on their FB page about local tv news reports on this story over the past few days, but I haven't watched them.

Yes, I've heard the "Press" quote, but sometimes press can be bad.

You're right, hot girls in skimpy clothes does not offend me at all.

Hmmm, a hot chick photo shoot in my freezer... Yep, there has been talk of doing that before. Too bad photographer Donavan moved to Tampa. Koko, you wanna do the shoot?
