I am sad to report that I will not be attending the draft in person. I will be in the Keys that weekend. I will attend via the World Wide Web and Verizon. Snarf Snarf bitches!!!!!
You'll miss out on the hilarity Rich. Then again, we will be missing out on the Keys, beachin' it, and Duval St. Have a great trip!
Can I make an advance request to move the draft 1 week earlier next year. I don't get many nights away from the family (picture the guy in old school at the law firm who wants to join(also the doctor in Hangover)) A fantasy draft is a built in excuse.
I know Koko is not a proponent of having a draft before the pre-season is over, but let's be honest, hardly any team plays their starters the last game and it is just an audition for the young guys fighting to make the team. So unless you are looking to draft the 5th receiver on Detroit, it doesn't matter and a lot of people travel for that weekend anyways

Wish I was there but we'll be having our own paarty in MA.
Actually if we did it one week earlier, then week 3 preseason games would yet to be played. No way I'd draft a team with those looming.
Besides, who knows if there will even be a season to draft next year. Or if there will be 4 or 2 preseason games.
Pretty safe to say we'll discuss it next year. Just keep your eye on the ball Reger. I don't want anything distracting you from drafting a 3rd consecutive non-playoff team.

Historic data points toward a Papageorgio championship. I have won every one of my other leagues within the first 3 years I was in them. Be prepared for total reger domination, or TRD (pronounced turd) for short.

FYI, a couple of my friends are throwing a HUGE Labor Day bash in Baldwin Park on Sunday starting at noon. I've missed the last two parties & would like to attend this one. Hopefully this won't be a 5 hour draft again, so can get there at a decent time for the debauchery. All of you are welcome to go to the bash also.
Here are the details I recieved:
