I feel like I need to explain myself a little more on the Eli Theory. Let me set it up better.

I just got done watching this scene from Rocky IV....please watch it and maybe you will get a better understanding of my mindset when I couldn't sleep and this theory kept popping into my head. I thought it was pure genious at the time but now realize it was some rambling...maybe I will be able to better explain during my next story telling session. Somehow, I feel I can explain better after 8-10 beers.

Anyways, watch the video and then compare it to Eli and the Giants deciding to take on an unbeatable force of the 2007 Patriots. It is a perfect comparison...Rocky was an unprecedented underdog against Drago....yet the majority of the free world...outside of New England was rooting for the Giants.

Drago was Unbeatable. There was also accusations of Drago juicing up....which he was. So, now we even have the Cheating correlation between Drago and the Pats. The only thing that would have made this comparison actually perfect would have been if Junior Seau or Teddy Bruschi had ruptured Peyton's achilles tendon and potentially ended his career a few games earlier...then the revenge factor would have been perfect.

Cmon, can you just picture Strahan taking Eli and the Big Blue crew to some remote training session in the Arizona desert for 2 weeks before the game and the team digging down deep to beat the Unbeatable????

Lastly, one more side note...how was Drago juicing up in 1985 but MLB didn't figure it out that athletes could do this until last year????
