What up guys? For those of you whom I'm friends with on facebook, maybe you've seen my posts over the weekend about all the events that I went to. The rest of you can add me http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/profile.php?id=546431058 to check them out. I'm very lucky that my dad was awarded tickets on Saturday to the All Star Game by the Share Our Strength charity that he's heavily involved in fundraising for them. The charity could've kept them for themselves, but they gave them to my dad and they were sick seats! They were better seats than for any Magic game I've gone to. It was like a dream come true to see the world's best on the same court. It was insane! Our seats were in the section next to the stage where the player intruductions and the halftime show was. The ONLY thing that sucked was there was a "wall" of lighting equipment that blocked most of our view during introductions and the halftime show. It was amazing to look around the arena and see Bill Russell, Magic Johnson, Clyde Drexler, Chris Mullen, David Robinson, Spike Lee, politician/rev Jesse Jackson, Cee Lo Green, Lil Wayne, Drake, Mary J Blige, CC Sabathia, etc.
Went to the Jam Session on Thurs eve, the Rising Stars Game (which was CHEAP compared to the All Star Sat Night & Game--only $40!) Rubio is the shit. He's like And 1 mix tapes in the NBA. If I had NBA League Pass, I'd watch the Timberwolves, Clippers and Heat games. Wish I had checked out tickets earlier because I was almost to the top of the Arena although at mid court. Went to the All Star Practice on Sat morning. That was great being 50 feet or so from the court prior to knowing I was going to the Game...then doing it again the next day. I took about 1,000 pics during the weekend. Maybe at some point to unload them from my camera to the 'net.
I was so busy during the weekend that I actually didn't watch the All Star Sat Night events.
BTW, I'm in the above photo. I'm standing up in the section to the right of CP3/ Wearing a blue shirt and I'm turned towards the right about an inch (in the pic) from CP3's head.
Sacha Baron Cohen proves once again he is the undisputed king of method comedy. This time at the expense of his Oscar invitation and Seacrest's tuxedo.

Here's my article for the 2012 Academy Awards this Sunday.
Now Regs, I take no responsibility for any financial losses you might incur.
However I would like to take FULL responsibility for any gains.

Key & Peele: Obama's Anger Translator - The Last Four Years

Yes this is real. The composer/singer of "Win in the End" from the original Teen Wolf film in the '80s has re-recorded that song in tribute to Jeremy Lin.
Come on, even if you hate the Knicks, you love Teen Wolf and that song was an anthem in our childhood.
ps. Knicks are the deepest team in the league now, Go NY, Go NY, Go!
Hey guys, have you seen this article about CCSabathia. Sony make a customised PlayStation for him. Pretty cool.

Ok, I don't really know how much more evidence people need to see the light of day here. Even a Los Angeles jury would say, "Damn these bitches are guilty."
The Republicans are trying to block the extension of the payroll tax cut.
Wait! What!?
But Republicans love tax cuts! All tax cuts, right?
Nope, apparently they only like them when they are for the top 1%.
I'm sure they will say, "well it's not that simple," but that the disturbing part. Yes it is that simple.
They simply do not want anything at all to pass that will show Obama in a good light. No matter the consequence. These are NOT patriots, they are only out for themselves and could give a good god damn about the betterment of the country.
They'll fight tooth and nail, even block MIDDLE CLASS tax cuts, to hold onto the Bush tax cuts for the top 1%. But then when the payroll tax cut that primarily helps the middle class comes up for renewal, all of the sudden they are concerned with where will the money come from. How convenient.
And just to make it clear, I'm not really in favor of the payroll tax cut myself, or any tax cuts at this point. And I thought Obama should've held the line and let the Bush tax cuts expire expire as well, even though middle class taxes would've went up slightly. It's just the hypocrisy that so in-your-face outrageous. How can Republicans fight so hard to help keep billionairs a few extra million each year and then oppose a guy making $40K/year getting an extra $40-$50 in his check every 2 weeks?
At this point the only other thing they can do to show their disdain for the people who are the real fuel in this country is to just Ron Burgundy it and say, "Fuck you Middle Class."
The narrator is Max Landis, son of director John Landis. He got a bunch of his dad's Hollywood friends to be in this.

Eli is little brother no more. The annoying little kid who Peyton toyed with on the driveway basketball court now has double the amount of Super Bowl rings as his HOF bound bro. Not to mention SB MVP’s as well.
But the “decapitation,” as Brandon Jacobs so eloquently put it in front of 100 million people, of the Patriots not only cemented Eli’s own proclamation that he is indeed in Tom Brady’s class, but it also ascended the New York Football Giants franchise into a realm of rarified air, that of which the Patriots themselves have yet to sniff.
4 Super Bowl Championships.
Only 5 franchises have now achieved that feat in the history of the NFL. And taking into account the Giants ultra rich history as one of the leagues original teams, the place where Lombardi and Landry started their professional coaching careers and their legendary battles with the Baltimore Colts and Green Bay Packers in the pre Super Bowl era, the Giants are now in the top 5 franchises all time. Where they place exactly can be argued ad nauseum, but the fact is it’s something that can now be legitimately argued.
I would say they are 3rd, behind the Packers and Steelers. The Cowboys have one more SB win but the Giants have 3 more total League Championships as the Cowboys do not have the pre Super Bowl history of the Giants. The G-Men also have one more playoff appearance and conference championship than Dallas and Eli led Big Blue to victory in the only playoff game ever played between the two teams.
The 49ers are 5th with 5 SB rings as well. There’s no way you can put them in front of the Giants because all of their success came in such a relatively short amount of time. They simply do not have enough tread on the tires to be ranked in front of teams like the Packers, Giants or Cowboys.
Leaving the Patriots on the outside looking in. New England has enjoyed all of their accolades in a more extended time frame than San Fran, but with an all-time record of 3-4 in the Big Game, they now find themselves on a list with the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, and Minnesota Vikings as 4-time Super Bowl losers.
