Good review. I haven't seen that flick yet.
Thanks Scott, yeah it was definitely worth the time and money. Most likely it will be nominated for the Best Picture Oscar.
Your thoughts on The Fighter vs. Social Ntework, in regards to picture of the year....
Trent Reznor could win an Oscar for Sound track and Richard Gere should be nomiated for Best Supporting Actor, for his performance in Brooklyn's Finest.
I have The Social Network waiting for me in my mailbox. I'll see it this weekend.
I liked Brooklyn's Finest but I didn't think it was the incredible film everyone made it out to be.
Same thing goes for The Town.
Yeah, I didn't like The Town. The acting sucked. Brooklyn's Finest, I thought, was good not great. I thought Gere did well though. We shall see.
BTW, Send me your address please. (text)
Looking forward to eventually watching this movie.
I saw all his fights vs Arturo Gatti. Unbelievable !!!
I think im the only boxing fan left in the world.
Yeah unfortuantely the Gatti fights are not in the movie. If they included those it would've been 3-4 hours long.
Boxing completely destroyed itself with the casual sports fan.
Nice review, gonna check it out. Brooklyns Finest was garbage.
Great review!I am looking forward to this movie big time. And Great job on the Rocky reference....you had me at Rocky.
Also, Am I wrong to have enjoyed The Cape....and considering making that a regular TV show to watch??? I need your advice oh great Koko and friends.
Keith you will love The Fighter. I think it will be one of your favorite movies ever.
I saw the first episode of the The Cape. They have something interesting there, but it's a bit of a mess. They're trying to do the old school Batman campy style mixed with the drama of Heroes. I'm going to give it a few more episodes to see if it goes anywhere.
