cutting weight tips

Posted by J Dub

I know it has been a while since I posted anything, so I figured I would ask the Kai members for any and all advice they might have on cutting weight. I am willing to listen to anything besides cutting my arms off or complete starvation. The final cut day isn't for a month but I am plateauing and need some new ideas.

I'll try to get my brother to reply on this JDub, he's an expert on that stuff.

I used to be a pro at this stuff. Here you go:
1-Excersise in the morning before breakfast. Doing this will attack your fat stores for energy rather than using carbs from a recently eaten meal. This will also boost your metabolism for the rest of the day.
2-Eat 6 small meals a day. Make 3 of them meal replacement protein shakes. The other 3 should consist of protein, a complex carb, and veggie. No portion should be larger than your fist. Ex: baked chicken breast, sweet potato, steamed brocolli. CUT OUT FATS AND SWEETS(and beer)!!!!The natural fats in fish, meats should be enough. Olive oil is ok.
3- High intensity workouts are great. Sprinting rather than jogging. Crosstraining. Change your workouts every week to keep your body guessing.

Hope this helps

All the stuff Rich said is good but i'm guessing since you've been loosing weight for a while your already doing most of that stuff plus all those tips are great for over a long period of time, which you don't seem to have.

As far as diet goes, high protein/low carb/moderate fat is the way to go. If you can eat nothing but protein and green leafy vegetables that is the way to go. Celery is really good also because it takes more calories to break down or digest then actual calories in the celery itself. (if u can stomach it, try it with peanutbutter) Only problem with this diet is the lack of energy and irritated mood you might be in. You will have to push through workouts with low energy.

As far as workout routines, doing H.I.T (high intensity training is really good) Thats where you run on a treadmill at a slow walking pace for 1 minute then full speed for 2 minutes and continue that pattern.

Some quick fixes to try right before would be a water pill and colon cleanse. I would do the "Complete Body Cleanse" its at GNC. The average colon is supposed to weigh 8lbs and the average americans colon weights 20lbs. A lot of people who have taken the CBL have lost anywhere from 5 to 10lbs. while doing the one week program. Its easy to take. Only a few pills a day and a powder which is tasteless. I would do that 2 weeks before the final cut and then a water pill, preferably "Taraxatone" one of the strongest water pills, 1 week before the final cut. (you can find that at GNC too.)

Hope some of this helps. If not then Jason takes full responsibility! lol

Drink water, no sodas/beer. Colon cleanse sounds like you will be on the toilet for a week. Good luck J Dubs.

hey guys thanks for the suggestions I have invested in a detoxification supplement so I am going to give that a shot on top of my work out and diet.

I have actually been doing a lot of the things that you guys suggested so thank you again for verifying that it does work.
