Here are the top 12 Vegas movies in no particular order. What's your vote for the best Vegas movie ever?
Now this does not mean which one of these movies is the best film, it's all about which one is the most efficient in capturing the essence of Vegas.

A much more serious film than Honeymoon in Vegas. Some say it's Cage's best performance which is backed up by his "Best Actor" Academy Award.
Bugsy (1991)
The film about the man that started it all, Bugsy Siegel. How could this not be in the list, it's how Vegas became Vegas.
Ocean's Eleven (2001)
In my opinion, the best "heist" movie ever. It surpassed the original film by leaps and bounds. The heart of this movie is the seamless chemistry between the film's high-powered Hollywood cast.
Casino (1995)
This is pretty much Goodfellas in Vegas. And Frank Vincent gets his revenge on Pesci.
Swingers (1996)
Bugsy (1991)
The film about the man that started it all, Bugsy Siegel. How could this not be in the list, it's how Vegas became Vegas.
Ocean's Eleven (2001)
In my opinion, the best "heist" movie ever. It surpassed the original film by leaps and bounds. The heart of this movie is the seamless chemistry between the film's high-powered Hollywood cast.
Casino (1995)

Unbelievable film. The Vegas portion is where you'll find all the signature scenes. This movie not only educated millions of people about Autism, but also card counting.
Vegas Vacation (1997)
Hands down the funniest Vegas movie ever. And as silly as some of the games were in the "dirt casino" scene, such as "guess which hand," and "pick a number," the game "War" has actually made its way into mainstream casinos.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)
I've actually never seen this movie. I know I should be beaten for that. But on its reputation alone I had to include it.
The Godfather Part II (1974)
The greatest sequel of all time. I personally think it's better than the original. It was also the only sequel to ever win the Oscar for "Best Picture," until those damn hobbit movies came along.
Fools Rush In
Definitely a chick flick, but also a very funny movie with good writing. The main reason it's on the list is because it easily has the best Vegas sountrack ever.

Vegas vacation is my favorite, God Father part 2 is second. I couldn't make it all the way through Fear and Loathing, I hated it.
Ocean's Eleven wins it for me as I think it gets into the pulse of Vegas the most....
Although I did thoroughly enjoy Vegas Vacation.....But then again how can you go wrong with Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid.

Oceans 11 is the winner for me. Of the list, it is the most memorable. Casino is a strong second.
I think Swingers captures the essence of Vegas the best ie. picking up chicks, staying up all night, losing your money on stupid bets. Vegas vacation brought us the world famous Mr. Papageorgeo, so that makes it the best.
You know Scotty, I was going to put Lucky You on the list becasue I think it has some of the best poker scenes I've ever seen in a card movie. I also like the crazy gambling guys who bet on anything.
It's actually not a bad film. If I pass by it on cable I'll usually watch it for a while.
I have to say my vote goes for Casino, what better way to see how much money these casinos make and where it all goes, fucking unbeleivable! Fear and Loathing is a close second kind of hard to follow but it's crazy to think that it's a true story. This is really what happens when you go on 2 week binge of cocaine,ether,and a head full of acid in Las vegas!

Godfather 2 is the best movie on here , but i dont think Vegas when I see it. More little italy and Cuba during the revolution.
For those of us who have endured long wierd nights trippin and rolling Fear and Loathing is a classic/flashback experience.Casino was good history lesson with lots of beat downs !

In fact I thought a guy liking a girl is the exact opposite of gay. But I'll leave that to you big and strong machismo latinos to figure out.
That movie is all about Vegas and definitely has the best soundtrack.
