This is an unprecedented crossroad for the Republican Party. Either they will evolve, which we already know they have a fundamental issue with, or they will share the same fate with those large reptilian creatures they think roamed the Earth only 2,000 years ago.
Denounce the Tea Party and start nominating REAL Republicans like Joe Scarborough who may have right wing social sensibilities but does not care at all if everyone else does. Get rid of the chauvinist wackjobs who think they can redefine what rape is and how a woman should feel about anything that happens within her body.
Or better yet, just keep on keeping on and disband into a USSR-like hundred smaller parties that no one can remember or care about. That way we might actually get 3 or even 4 viable candidates to choose from each election.
