This is a short video about David Sokosh, a former photographer and now master watchmaker who sells his custom Brooklyn Watches at the famous Brooklyn Flea.

I consider analog watches to be functional pieces of art and these are actually made from other vintage pocket watches from the turn of the century.

Apparently this guy Bob Kramer is the Hattori Hanzo of kitchen knives. You can not simply just go to his website and order one. You have to enter a lottery and hope to be picked, then you can give him your money and he'll custom make you your one-of-a-kind knife.

At least to me, this explanation of the most astounding fact about the universe from Neil deGrasse Tyson is more pertinent, relevant, majestic, grandiose, awe inspiring, and certainly surpasses any fairy tale relationship with an imaginary man who lives in the sky.
