I am however very sad that both propositions in Florida and California banning gay marriage were passed.

It's a sad state that we feel the need to actually make laws prohibiting people who are different to live their lives the way they would like. It's inhumane.

Hopefully Obama will come through for these people and get a national civil union policy passed so they can at least get the same tax breaks and hosipital benefits as everyone else in this supposed free country.

They fact that this is something we even have to vote on says that we have a long way to go on the evolutionary scale.

Well we have to decide if we want to call two men or two woman living together a marriage. Maybe a civil union, and that I do beleive we should grant tax breaks and hospital benefits. You make a point by saying who are we to say what is right or wrong. Only G-d can judge us.....if you beleive in one.

However Mass. got wise and this should make you feel jealous. Hopefully Florida will follow so I can move back. Read the following article.

That's cool, but even more sad that we're leagalizing weed before gay people can get married.
